Slate Capital-Backed O’Donnell Metal Deck Buys Metal Deck Direct

O’Donnell Metal Deck, a distributor of metal deck and steel bar joist in the U.S. and a portfolio company of Slate Capital Group, has bought Metal Deck Direct.
Metal Deck Direct, based in Lenoir City, Tenn., distributes similar products to OMD and boosts the geographic reach of O’Donnell Metal Deck. Together, the companies service steel fabricators and contractors throughout the country. MDD adds more sales and operations expertise and brings relationships in Tennessee and the Southeast and Mid-South regions.
