8 Things to Know - Howard County metal company expands with acquisition of Washington state firm

O’Donnell Metal Deck & Bar Joist, an Elkridge-based commercial construction materials manufacturer, has acquired a Spokane, Washington firm in the same industry, the company announced in a press release Monday. O’Donnell, which already boasts nationwide distribution, added Tombari Structural Products to expand offerings in the Pacific Northwest. O’Donnell, a platform company for Baltimore-based investment firm Slate Capital Group, was acquired by the private equity group in 2020 with plans to expand, per the announcement. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
